Tenants of Charing Cross Housing Association have a right to be consulted on key Polices and proposals thay may have an impact on them.
Section 8.4 of the Scottish Secure Tenancy agreement (SST) that our tenants sign up to states the Association will consult its tenants when it proposes to make or change:
The Association will take into account any views that tenants have before making a final decision. Any consultation with tenants will include giving tenants comprehensive information in an accessible form and reasonable time to express views.
The Association consults with tenants on the likely increase required to commence on the 28th of March each year.
A detailed article was placed in our August 2016 newsletter asking for feedback from all tenants on our proposals, by Friday 30 September 2016. Our proposal for the financial year 17/18 is that the rent increase shall be linked to the ROI (Rate Of Inflation) only.
