The Association is responsible for common repairs at properties where we provide factoring services. By common repairs we mean repairs to the common parts that pertain to the whole property examples of which are detailed below:
If you note a repair within your property but are unsure if it constitutes a common repair please contact the Associaton by email or by contacting 0141 333 0404 for further advice. Likewise if you have any queries regarding any of the communal services provided by the Association at your property e.g. stair cleaning, back court maintenance etc. please contact us by phone or email.
Please note, water ingress to the common close which is a direct result of a leak from a private flat should be reported to the owner of the relevant flat in the first instance to allow them to investigate and resolve this. The same is true if there is an internal leak from one flat to another (e.g. in bathrooms or kitchens). If the Association's emergency service is called to a leak that is found to be private to a flat then those responsible for calling the emergency service could find themselves liaible for the charges. It is therefore extremely important that residents and owners are aware of their neighbours contact details in the event of an emergency situation. It is also very important that Landlords make their tenants aware of who to call if an emergency situation arises.
